Chinese Camps: Immersion
This new pilot program is launching in 2026 as a partner-program with Chia Chinese Learning. Designed for rising Grades 1-3 campers, this one-week experience is rooted in Chinese language acquisition and cultural exploration. Learning is taught in an immersion style. Grounded in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), the immersion experience emphasizes inquiry, creativity, and learning through meaningful hands-on exploration. Campers also spend time with our art and sports specialists, participating in team-building, active play, and creative expression to round out a joyful, well-balanced camp experience. These special activity blocks are taught in a blend of English and Chinese.
WISummer operates Monday-Friday (unless otherwise noted), with core care provided from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM. Families may add optional Extended Day Care until 6:00 PM. This year, we are happy to pilot a partner-program with Chia Chinese Learning. This one-week experience is rooted in language acquisition and learning and is taught in an immersion style. Families can register for one or multiple weeks (up to six weeks total). Click Here for a sample daily schedule.
