Join our summer team! We're looking for energetic, creative staff to help bring WISummer camps to life! Whether you're a bilingual educator, an experienced camp leader, or someone who loves working with children in a dynamic, playful environment, we have opportunities for you. Our team includes counselors, activity specialists, and support staff with a wide range of backgrounds - from teaching and coaching, to arts, STEM, and outdoor education. What they all share is a passion for guiding young learners, building community, and making summer unforgettable. Leadership Positions
The camp leadership team oversees the daily camp program and operations, support counselors and specialists, and ensure a safe, joyful experience for every camper. They help manage schedules, resolve problems as they arise, communicate with families, and keep camp running smoothly. Leadership staff also mentor new team members, model best practices, and create a positive, welcoming environment for both children and staff. Some leadership positions have specific language requirements, as detailed below.

Counselors bring that curriculum to life - leading engaging play-based activities in the target language. Whether supporting beginners, or guiding full immersion groups, they help children build confidence, communicate authentically, and learn through songs, games, and hands-on projects, all while creating a warm, fun, and supportive environment. All French language counselors should be bilingual in French and English). The Beginner Language Facilitator will have additional responsibilities in working to build a beginner-friendly curriculum for their group.

Chinese Language Positions
Our Chinese Language Counselor supports a Lead Counselor from Chia Chinese Learning, a WISummer partner, who designs the curriculum and daily activities. This counselor helps facilitate hands-on, culturally rich Mandarin language experiences, guiding campers through games, crafts, stories, and projects to bring language and culture to life.

These supporting positions help keep camp running smoothly and ensure a vibrant experience for all campers. From float counselors who assist across programs and Extended Day, to specialists in sports and fine arts who lead high-energy activities, each role brings essential expertise to our community. Our Trip & Travel counselors guide off-campus adventures, and our Social Media & Marketing Counselor helps capture and share the magic of WISummer. Together, these team members create a well-rounded, joyful camp environment.
